Ingredients

- 1 pound sirloin or flank steak
- 1 cup bell peppers
- 1 cup snow peas
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1–2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
- 2 tablespoons oil
Instructions
- Start by slicing the beef thinly against the grain to ensure tenderness.
- Chop your vegetables and grate the fresh ginger and garlic.
- Combine the thinly sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and half of the grated ginger. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in your wok over high heat until shimmering.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Toss in remaining ginger, garlic, and chopped vegetables. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes.
- Sprinkle in sugar or honey and stir to combine.
- Plate the stir-fry over rice or noodles, or enjoy on its own.
Notes
- Use tamari for a gluten-free option.
