- 1 cup creamy peanut butter, room temperature
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 10–12 oz chocolate, chopped (milk, semi-sweet, or combination)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides.
- In a bowl, stir together peanut butter, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Gradually mix in powdered sugar until a thick, smooth mixture forms.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared dish and smooth the top.
- Freeze until firm enough to cut cleanly.
- Cut heart shapes using a cookie cutter and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Freeze hearts again until very firm.
- Melt chocolate gently. Dip each heart fully, tapping off excess.
- Place on parchment and refrigerate until chocolate sets.
