Cinnamon Waffle Treats

Description

Delicious cinnamon waffle treats made with crescent roll dough and a sweet cinnamon sugar mixture.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat a waffle iron.
  2. Melt butter and mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and press 2 triangles together to form a rectangle.
  4. Brush with melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle each piece of crescent dough with about a tablespoon of cinnamon sugar mixture.
  6. Fold each rectangle into a square. Brush with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
  7. Flip and brush the other side with butter and sprinkle with more of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Cook in a hot waffle iron 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Use tongs or a fork to remove to a wire rack in a single layer.
  10. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  11. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • These treats are best served warm.
  • Feel free to add icing for an extra sweet touch.
