Delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies made with coconut oil and Greek yogurt for a unique twist.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup coconut oil or softened butter
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream coconut oil or butter with brown sugar until smooth.
- Add Greek yogurt, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
- Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For chewier cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
- You can substitute the chocolate chips with nuts or dried fruits for variety.
