Scale
- 1 cup fine semolina flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
- ½ cup pistachios or almonds (optional, chopped)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by gathering all ingredients and tools: a saucepan, whisk, and an 8-inch square baking dish lined with parchment paper.

- In another pot, bring water and sugar to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves.

- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, smoothing it out evenly. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if using.
- Let it cool completely before slicing into squares.
Notes
- Ensure to stir the mixture continuously to avoid burning.
- Use parchment paper for easy removal of the dessert from the baking dish.
