Delicious red velvet cookies with white chocolate chips.
Ingredients

- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 oz red food coloring (gel)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and red food coloring until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are set but centers remain soft. Let cool before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can sprinkle some sea salt on top before baking.
