  • 12 jalapeños, diced (optional, for spice)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Let the cream cheese come to room temperature to ensure it melts smoothly without lumps.
  2. Grate the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses and mix them into the softened cream cheese until fully blended for a creamy, cheesy base.
  3. Stir in the diced green chiles, tomatoes, jalapeños (if using), garlic powder, and onion powder to bring out bold Mexican flavors.
  4. Place the mixture in a saucepan over low heat. Stir continuously until all the cheeses are melted and the dip reaches a smooth consistency.
