Description
A delicious layered dish combining ground beef, ravioli, and cheese.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen ravioli
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce at the bottom of the baking dish.
- Layer half of the frozen ravioli, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the remaining meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers with remaining ingredients, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Feel free to add vegetables or spices to suit your taste.
