Description

Delicious breakfast roll-ups filled with scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheddar cheese wrapped in puff pastry.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 6 links breakfast sausage, fully cooked
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, for egg wash
  • 1 tablespoon water, for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Cook the breakfast sausage links in a skillet until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble gently over low heat until just set.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 6 rectangles.
  4. Place scrambled eggs on one end of each rectangle, top with a sausage and shredded cheese.
  5. Roll tightly and seal the edge with egg wash. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  6. Mix 1 egg with water and brush over the tops of each roll-up.
  7. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure the puff pastry is fully thawed before rolling out for best results.
  • Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
