Description

Delicious buffalo chicken wraps that are perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (grilled or rotisserie)
  • 1/4 cup hot buffalo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onions
  • 1/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Buffalo Chicken: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, melted butter, and garlic powder. Mix everything well so the chicken is evenly coated in that signature tangy heat. You can gently warm it in a skillet or microwave if you prefer the chicken hot.
  2. Lay Out Your Tortillas: Warm the tortillas slightly so they’re more pliable. This helps prevent cracking when folding. You can microwave them for about 15 seconds under a damp paper towel or heat them briefly in a dry skillet.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: On each tortilla, start with a layer of shredded lettuce. Add a generous scoop of the buffalo chicken mixture, then sprinkle on the shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and red onions. Drizzle with your choice of dressing. If you like a little extra kick, a few extra dashes of hot sauce won’t hurt.
  4. Wrap It Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly into a wrap. Slice in half if serving immediately.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Serve with a side of carrot and celery sticks for that classic buffalo pairing. These wraps are perfect with iced tea or lemonade in the summer or a warm drink when it’s chilly outside.
